Grace Elizabeth Bowden

Grace Elizabeth Bowden, 94, of Albany, GA, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Dennis Lanning will officiate.

Born in Elbert County, Ga., Mrs. Bowden had resided in Albany Ga. most of her life. She was a homemaker and a pianist. She attended Avalon United Methodist Church where she was a member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reed Harold Bowden, a son, Ricky J. Bowden and a sister, Blanche Aycock.

Survivors include a son, Harold Dwayne Bowden and a daughter, Rita Hall both of Albany, GA, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
