George William Woodall Jr

George W. Woodall, Jr., 76, of Lee County, GA, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 at his residence. No services will be held at this time.

George was born in Richmond, VA on July 31, 1949 to the late George and Margie Woodall, Sr.  He grew up in Richmond, VA and graduated from George Mason High School and the University of West Georgia. Before residing in Lee County, GA in 1990, George served in the National Guard Reserve to then become a behavioral specialist employed with Aspire Behavioral Health and DD Services formerly known as Albany Area Community Service Board.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents and sister, Marcy W Hagen. 

Survivors include brother, Michael Woodall, daughters Natalie Hope and Robyn Elizabeth Woodall,and Taylor Spriggs Simmons, and son, Jonathan Michael Woodall. Grandchildren, including Avianna Jade Mayhew, Addyson Fae Spriggs, Stephen Anthony Simmons (Tony) and Millie Brooks Jaime. Closest friend and caretaker, Stacey Marie Spriggs. And a man’s best friend of all, his baby dog, Nugget.
