George Grayson Pinson

George Grayson Pinson, 76, of Fair Play, SC, husband of Allie Irene Haire Pinson, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at his residence.
A native of Pikeville, KY, Mr. Pinson was the son of the late Oliver and Minnie Leabelle Thompson Pinson. He was a twenty year veteran of the US Air Force, retired from Civil Service and was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Pinson is survived by sons, George Grayson Pinson, Jr. of Albany, GA and Gregory Keith Pinson of Albany, GA; daughters, Cheryl Claudette Topmiller of Albany, GA and Marcina Renee Davis of Tifton, GA; brother, Barry Pinson of Pikeville, KY; sisters, Fern Stumbo and Claudia Fowler, both of Pikeville, KY and Patricia Prater of Murrayville, TN; grandchildren, Keith Sirmans of Valdosta, GA, Jamie Sirmans of Tifton, GA, Angela Taylor of Enigma, GA, Britni Leanne Pinson of Albany, GA, Andrew and Adam Ward of Leesburg, GA, and Kori Kelley of England; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Allen Bingham and Rufus Williams will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Mathews Funeral Home.
