George Dennis “Bubba” Moreland, III

George Dennis “Bubba” Moreland, III, 69, of Leesburg, GA passed away Monday, May 12, 2025 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Leesburg Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Mr. Moreland was born in Albany, GA and lived in Leesburg, GA all of his life. He was a retired dog trainer at Moreland Kennels.   

Mr. Moreland was preceded in death by his parents, George Dennis Moreland, Jr. and Tommie Hayes Moreland and a sister, Brenda (Boo) Moreland.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Swearingen Moreland, daughters, Courtney Moreland Davis (Steve), Haily Moreland all of Leesburg, GA, son-in-law, Dustin Kirby, Albany, GA, granddaughters, McKenzie Ryan Davis and grand dogs, Batman and Bruiser.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 16, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
