George Greathouse

George Greathouse, 73, of Lee County passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends at their residence on Friday, December 20, 2019 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

George was born on August 7, 1946, in Ft. Valley, to the late Eugene and Mattie Greathouse. He graduated from Albany High School in 1964. He was a very loved man by his family and friends. He loved hunting and riding in the tractor listening to good old country music. He will truly be missed.

Survivors include his wife, Alicia Greathouse, children, Alejandra Greathouse, Jose Greathouse, Jonathan Arnett all of Lee County, Tim Greathouse of SC, and Laura Greathouse of TX, siblings, Reba Leffler, Mildred Shelton, both of TX, Mary Hollywood of MA, and Roy Greathouse of Silver, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
