Gayle Ann Bryant, 72, of Baconton, GA died Saturday, November 4, 2023 at her residence.

Born August 28, 1951 to Aaron and Imogene Carlile in Newport, AR, Gayle Ann moved to Albany from Valdosta, GA in 2002. She grew up as an “Army Brat” and became an “Army Wife,” after meeting her husband in Germany in 1969. She was a member of Kirkland Baptist Church in Columbus.

Gayle Ann embodied the essence of an exceptional daughter, sister, mother, aunt and wife, always putting family first.

Her lifelong unwavering dedication as a family caregiver revealed her selflessness and love. Gayle Ann was also a gifted artist whose creativity knew no bounds. Her artistic talents brought beauty and inspiration to all who were fortunate to know her.

The void left by her absence cannot be put into words.  The memories and laughter we shared, and the moments we cherished will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Gayle really had a heart of gold and a spirit that touched everyone around her.

While our hearts ache for the time we wished she had, let us find joy and comfort in the quality of life she brought to us all. Her love, kindness, and creativity will continue to remind us of the extraordinary person she was.

As we honor her memory, let us celebrate the incredible person she was, leaving an indelible mark on our lives.

Gayle Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Renee Bryant. Survivors include her husband, Robert W. “Bob” Bryant, her son, Robert W. Bryant, Jr. both of Baconton, GA, and siblings, Don Carlile and Pam (Jay) Mirabella, of Columbus, GA.

Rest in peace, dear sweet Gayle.  Your legacy will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
