Gary Ward Bailey

Gary Ward Bailey, 59, of Leesburg, GA. died Thursday December 29, 2011 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Monday January 2, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Olds will officiate.

A native of Charleston, S.C., Mr. Bailey moved to Leesburg, GA where he had resided for the past sixteen years. He was employed with the Marine Corps Logistics Base as a Heavy Mobile Equipment Repair Inspector for the Maintenance Center. He was a member of Etiwan Masonic Lodge # 95 F & AM, in Charleston, SC and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Lee Bailey.

Survivors include his wife, Belinda Ward Bailey, a son, Nathan Ward Bailey and a daughter April Lee Bailey all of Leesburg, GA, his mother, Myrtle Jenkins Bailey, Forsyth, GA, two brothers, Bennie Lee Bailey, Jr., Lexington, SC, Mark Jenkins Bailey, Forsyth, GA and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends after the funeral service at Mathews Funeral Home.
