Euvida Castleberry Spivey

Euvida Spivey, 89, of Albany, GA, died May 27, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Ross Powell and Rev. Tom Pollock will officiate. A private family committal service will follow at Floral Memory Gardens.

A native of Andalusia, AL, Mrs. Spivey was born September 16, 1923 to the late Turner and Valley Castleberry. She was a homemaker, a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and the Vota Vita Sunday school class.

Survivors include, her husband Sam Spivey, a son, Jim Spivey and two daughters Debbie Lunsford and her husband, Steve all of Albany, GA and Cathy Barrett and her husband, Jeff of Dunwoody, GA, her grandchildren, Andrew Lunsford of Atlanta, GA, Erin Lunsford of Chicago, IL, Ben Barrett of Tuscaloosa, AL and Meredith Barrett, Athens, GA.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home.
