Ernest Riley Broughton

Ernest R. Broughton, 92, of Abany, GA passed away peacefully Friday, August 4, 2023 at Willson Hospice House. He will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Thomasville, GA. There will be a private family service held at a later date.

His greatest love was his late wife, Edwina. He enjoyed bass fishing and the game of golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy S. Broughton and Mattie S. Broughton, his wife Edwina B. Broughton, and brother Bobby T. Broughton.

Survivors include a son, David Broughton, two step-daughters, Belinda Kavanaugh and Deborah Osburn.
