Eddie James Mack

Eddie James Mack, 80, of Albany, died August 3, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.

A native of Terrell County, Mr. Mack lived most of his life in the Bronx, NY moving there shortly after his honorable discharge from the U. S. Army serving during the Vietnam War.  He retired from the Board of Education as a Custodian/Curator in Bronx, NY.  He was a member of Union Local 74 A.F.L.-C.I.O-C.L.O.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Johnny Floyd and Pearlena Kendrick Mack, siblings Johnny F. Mack, Willie C. Mack, Dr. Alice (Dean Jones) Mack, Calvin Mack, daughter Shareen H. Mack.

Survivors include his children, Edward Mack, Bronx, NY, Shameek Jackson Bronx, NY Stephanie Mack, Albany, siblings Vivian Mack, Albany, Winnie White, Bronx, NY, Henry (Shirley) Mack, Albany, grandchildren, Kayon Jackson, Starasia N. Sims, Makiyla Jackson, Ashley T. Heucherson, Serenity Jackson, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
