Earline Davis Johnson

Earline Davis Johnson, 83, of Putney, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2024, at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Mathews Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Mark Spraggins will officiate.

She was born on November 9, 1940, in Tallahassee Florida to the late, Clarence David and Mollie Whitfield Davis. Earline was known for her warm personality and unwavering love and care for her family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of conversation. She had a way with words and enjoyed engaging in meaningful discussions. Whether it was sharing stories or lending an ear to those in need. In her free time, Earline found joy in watching television. It was a source of entertainment and relaxation for her.

Earline was a member of First Baptist Church of Putney. She was a great Christian woman and loved God. She knew she was going to Heaven when her time on Earth was complete.
