Dorothy Lee Rachel Tucker

Dorothy Rachel Tucker of Albany, GA, died October 17, 2011 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Baker County, GA.

Mrs. Tucker was born in Baker County, GA and graduated from Damascus High School. She had lived in Albany, GA since 1964. Mrs. Tucker was formerly employed with the Dougherty County School System, she managed the kitchen at Evergreen Assisted Living and retired from First United Methodist Church of Albany.

Survivors include her husband, Ray E. Tucker and a son, Ricky Hudson and his wife, Kelly, two daughters, Lynn Tucker Freese and Jeannie Tucker and two grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Freese and Dusty Allen Hudson and a brother, W.H. Rachel, Jr. and his wife, Alice all of Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
