Donald Glynn Woodard

Donald Glynn Woodard, 76, of Lee County, GA, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Matthew Schluckebier will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Darren Matthews, Clint Matthews, Bryan Reed, Tristan Vick, Chello Brown and Kirk Lamon will serve as active pallbearers.

Donald was born in Moultrie, GA on September 23, 1949 to the late Randolph and Thelma Woodard. He grew up in Albany, GA and lived there before moving to Lee County, GA in 2008. Donald was employed in the Construction Business all of his life before retiring from Lovett and Associates in 2019. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, traveling and planting his garden. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by two children, Donnie Woodard and Tammy Woodard and a brother, Billy Ray Woodard.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Woodard of Lee County, GA, his children, Dawn (Mark) Gavin of Lee County, GA, Stacie Woodard of Jefferson, GA, Trampus (Jody) Woodard of Winder, GA and Corey Woodard of Lee County, GA, a sister, Mary Evelyn Sotack of Gainesville, GA, twenty-one grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
