Dian Hufstetler Tomlin

Dian Hufstetler Tomlin, 63, of Graves, GA, died December 3, 2022 at Willson Hospice House.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Morris Monkus will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery in Shellman, GA.

Dian was born in Valdosta, GA on February 11, 1959 to Alfred and Juanita Hufstetler.  She grew up in Albany, GA and graduated from Albany High School in 1977.  Dian graduated from The Darton School of Nursing and received her Batchelor’s Degree from Georgia Southwestern College.

Dian had been employed with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as a CCU Nurse for over thirty three years.  She moved to Terrell County, GA in  1997 where she was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church and enjoyed camping, craft shows and working in her yard.  In addition to her father, Alfred Hufstetler, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo Hufstetler and Walter Hufstetler.

Survivors include her husband, Stan Tomlin of Graves, GA, her mother, Juanita Hufstetler of Albany, GA, her siblings, Yvonne (Darrell) Griner of Moultrie, GA, Leon Hufstetler of Albany, GA, Gail (Roger) Lloyd of Flowery Branch, GA and ten nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.

The family is at the residence of Juanita Hufstetler.
