Dennis Gilletly

Dennis Gilletly, 83, of Albany, died Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

His memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Andrew Kornegay will officiate.

Born in Cleveland, OH, Mr. Gilletly served in the U. S. Navy and U. S. Marine Corps.  After his service time He worked with Waste Management where he retired, he and his late wife Diane, were lovers of animals and were supporters of the Albany Humane Society.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, Gerald and Margarite Gilletly and son-in-law Johnny Brown.

Survivors include his daughters, Gina Brown, Robin Dunn (Sam), grandchildren, Jared Brown, Ty Brown, Brianna Rosenfeld, Deanna Brown and Bella Brown.  Also surviving are his sisters Cynthia Copeland and Peggy Talarico.

The family will receive friends following the service.
