Davis Allen Hancock

Davis Allen Hancock, 40, of Lee County, GA died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at his residence. Tri County Memorial Club will conduct Masonic Rites Saturday at 4:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 6:00 PM.

A native of Jacksonville, NC, Davis grew up in Baconton, GA, attended Mitchell County Schools and Albany Technical College. He had resided in Lee County for the past fifteen years moving from Albany, GA. Davis was a welder and fabricator with Superior Machine Works. Mr. Hancock was a member of Dougherty Lodge #591 and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Jill Duren Hancock of Lee Co., GA, two daughters, Gabby Marsh of Leesburg, GA and Savannah Hancock of Summerville, SC, two sons, Dakota Hancock of Summerville, SC and Canyon Hancock of Lee Co., GA, two step-daughters, Chloe Jolley and Carey Jolley of Lee Co., GA, his father and his wife, Bill and Kay Hancock of Mitchell Co., GA, his mother and her husband, Christine and Terry Christopher of Inverness, FL, a step-sister, Tonya Michelle Curles and her husband Dale of Albany, GA and a step-brother, John William Anglon and his wife, Jessica of Jacksonville, NC.

The family is at the residence of Buster and Carla Duren, 904 Oak Hills Lane, Albany, GA 31701.
