David Hinton Adkins

David Hinton Adkins, 59 of Albany died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Walter Flint and Rev. Chris Mullis will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens.

Mr. Adkins was a native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA and was a 1972 graduate of Dougherty High School. He was a self-employed realtor and investor and was a member of Elmodel Presbyterian Church. Mr. Adkins was preceded in death by his father Alexander Hinton Adkins and his mother Mildred Butler Adkins.

Survivors include a sister, Debbie Jackson and her husband Phil of Albany, numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home.
