Daniel Emmett "Dan" Youngblood

Daniel Emmett “Dan” Youngblood, 53, of Dawson, GA, died November 21, 2021. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Poulan City Cemetery. Rev. Chris Turner will officiate.

Dan was born on November 4, 1968 to Emmett and Carolyn Youngblood in Douglas, GA. His family moved to Dawson, GA when he was four years old. Dan graduated from Terrell County High School in 1987 and attended Albany Technical College and received his Auto Mechanic Degree. He was employed with T. Childre Chevrolet-Buick in Dawson, GA for thirty years. Dan attended Lighthouse Ministries and loved old cars and racing.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Boyette Youngblood, his children, Josh (Carley) Youngblood and Selena Youngblood, his mother, Carolyn (Mike) Taylor and a brother, Billy (Amber) Youngblood all of Dawson, GA, a sister, Kim (Joey) Thomas of Alma, GA and two grandchildren, Rhett and Garrett Youngblood.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at Mathews Funeral Home.
