Daniel "Dan" L. Jordan

Daniel “Dan” Jordan, of Dawson, died Saturday, October 15, 2022 at his home. 

His graveside service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson.  Rev. Allen Carmichael will officiate. 

Born in Dooling, GA, Dan and his mother moved to Ellaville when he was three weeks old and his father died.  After graduation, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served for four years.  After his time in the Navy, Dan went to work with Delta Airlines where he retired after 34 years as the Lead Avionics Mechanic.  

After retirement, Dan moved to Dawson and married his wife Sue Howard Jordan twenty-two years ago.  He was a member of Dawson United Methodist Church and P T Schley Masonic Lodge. 

The family wishes to thank Kristan Daniel and the rest of Phoebe Hospice. 

Survivors include his wife Sue Howard Jordan, Dawson, daughters, Jency Ann Jordan, Hilliard, FL, Judy Law (Randy), McDonough, GA, step daughters, Carlene Howard, Macon, GA, Darlene Paul (Butch), Dawson, GA and a host of nieces and nephews.
