Cynthia Elaine Strickland

Cynthia Elaine Strickland, born July 5, 1956, 69 of Leesburg, GA. died Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Burial was at Olive Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Seminole County, Georgia.

Born at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Ms. Strickland was known to her friends as one who (lived her life) was truly committed and fully devoted to a life of love for, and obedience to, the Lord, Jesus Christ. Ms. Strickland was a tireless child advocate. She was the founder and, for nearly two decades, the Director of Wing Shadow Children's Ministries.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Montine Miller Glisson and Elton Franklin Glisson, and her parents, Margaret Glisson Strickland and William Horace Strickland
