Cynthia L. Craft

Cynthia L. Craft, 59, of Shellman, GA passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church, Dawson, GA. Pastor Danny Craft and Pastor Jeff Henry will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Cindy was born in Cuthbert, GA and lived in both Dawson, GA and Shellman, GA all of her life.

Cindy was a long time member of New Bethel Baptist Church of Dawson, Ga. She loved every single one of her church members and cherished them so much.

If you knew Cindy, you loved Cindy. Cindy loved going to the beach and putting her feet in the sand any chance she got. That was her happy place. She would sit on the sand all day long with her diet Sunkist and can of Pringles. She had such a big heart and loved everyone. She never met a stranger. She loved attending church and spending time with her church family. She enjoyed crocheting blankets and sitting for hours doing crossword puzzles. Cindy loved her daughters very much and made sure she let them know that all the time with the simple "I love you" "I love you more" text. But most of all she enjoyed being a NeNe to her grand babies. They were her entire world. She loved spending every moment she could with all of them. She never missed a holiday, birthday or school event. They knew they could always count on their NeNe to be there. She was the absolute best wife, mom and NeNe we could ask for. We love you mama.

Cindy was preceded in death by her Mother, Joy Beard, Father, Codise Ezell, Father-in-law, Ted Craft and grandson, David Harden.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Mathews Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 P.M.
