Clifford Lee Revell

Clifford Lee Revell, 71, of Albany, died Monday, June 29, 2026 at his home.

His memorial service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Lakeside Baptist Church.

Born in Albany, GA to Ernest Lee Revell and Frances Walker Revell, Clif graduated from Albany High School in 1972 and attended Auburn University.

He met the love of his life, Julie Slaughter in 1978 and they were married in May of the following year. After they married, he worked for the State of Georgia for 35 years in several capacities, counselor at the Youth Detention Center, neglect and abuse investigator and finally as a caseworker at the Department of Family and Children Services.

Clif loved to go to the beach, play his guitar and spend time in the woods hunting. He loved music and going to concerts with his wife and sons. He also liked to get in his truck with Julie and ride Georgia’s dirt roads to see whatever the Lord sent their way. He was also an avid reader.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Julie Slaughter Revell, his sons, Michael Revell (Jenny), Marc Revell (Abbey) and Mason Revell (Ryann), grandchildren, Walker, Julia, Wyatt, Jack, Wells, Wiley Jordie and Whitley, his sisters, Debbie Sawyer (Hal), Angi ughes (Louie).

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Georgia Hospice, especially Kassandra, Kayla, Lisa, Kyle and Ms. Kathy.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Lakeside Baptist Church.
