Christine Verdell Lash

Christine Verdell Lash, 86, of Albany, GA, died Friday, March 7, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:45 AM Sunday, March 16, 2014 at First Christian Church of Albany. Rev. Tommy Lowery will officiate.

A native of High Point, FL, she was born to the late F. C. Dorsey and Jessie McDavid Dorsey. Mrs. Lash moved to Albany in 1968. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lash.

Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Wayne Lash of Albany, GA, a sister, Francis Francone, of High Point, FL, a sister-in-law, Dottie Lewis of Rapid City, SD and a special friend and caregiver, Viola Sharleen Priepke.
