Charles William "Billy" Hall

Charles William “Billy” Hall, 78, of Lee County, GA, died December 22, 2024 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Lonnie Mathis will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens.

Billy was born in Albany, GA on September 26, 1946 to Charles and Bernice Hall. He grew up in Albany, GA and started working at the Albany Herald News Paper when he was thirteen years as a paperboy, then to the mailroom and finally retired as the Mailroom Supervisor after forty seven years.

Billy was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and the Living Word Sunday School Class. He was a member of Dougherty Lodge # 591 F&AM, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Hasan Shriners. Billy enjoyed Deer Hunting and loved to go to the gym to work out. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles Condy Hall and a brother, Don Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Hall of Lee County, GA, his daughters, Heather (Samuel) Coleman of Dawson, GA and Haley Paquette of Albany, GA, his grandchildren, Logan Coleman of Jacksonville, FL, Pacey Paquette of Albany, GA, Vala Coleman of Dawson, GA, sisters-in-law, Susan Robbins of Albany, GA, Jeanette Kosiewski of Jacksonville, FL, Kathy Webb of Omaha, NE and Marsha (Ronnie) Harrell of Plant City, FL, many nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Saturday before ethe service at Mathews Funeral Home.
