Charles Richard "Ricky" Dietzel

Charles Richard “Ricky” Dietzel, 53, of Albany, GA, passed away September 20, 2022, at his residence. Funeral Services honoring his life will be conducted on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens.

Born in Logan, Ohio in January 29, 1969 to the late Glen and Betty Dietzel. Ricky moved to Albany, GA in 1976 from Ochlocknee GA. He was a carpet Installer with Custom Interiors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Jerry Dietzel and Gary Dietzel, his nephew Steven Dietzel, Jr.

Survivors include his siblings, Glen Dietzel Jr., Betty Goforth, Michael Dietzel, Sr., Laura Parrish, Brenda Dietzel, Steven Dietzel, Sr., Jennifer Morrison, Carol Luckey,  numerous nieces and nephews, his girlfriend Dee Whiddon and her son Allen Lonnie Terrell “L.T”.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
