Charles Robert "Bobby" Beaver

Charles Robert “Bobby” Beaver, 72, of Albany, GA died Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Monday, May 1, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Bobby was born August 6, 1950 in Nashville, TN to the late John and Kathryn Harty Beaver. He moved his family to Albany, GA in 1964.   Bobby graduated from Westover High School in 1969 and was employed early in his career with Beaver Oil Company in Tifton, GA.  He was a master carpenter and owned and operated Bobby Beaver Construction.

Bobby was a member of the First Methodist Church.  He played golf at Radium Country Club for many years and also played at Stonebridge Country Club and River Pointe Golf Club.  His other interests included fishing and hunting. Bobby was preceded in death by a brother, Buzz Beaver.

Survivors include his son, James E. Price, his daughters, Ava Brown and husband Chris and Allyson Beaver Antol all of Murrells Inlet, SC, his son, Charles R. Beaver, Jr. and wife Holly of Myrtle Beach, SC, his siblings, Buddy Beaver, Albany, GA, Susan Rustin, Vidalia, GA, Winnie Turoski (Joe) of Hortense, GA and grandchildren Bowen Price, McKenzie Price, Spencer Brown, Seven Doutt, Emily Scott Antol, Olivia Kate Antol, Charles R. “Trey” Beaver, III, Blakley Beaver, Savannah Beaver, and Julie Beaver.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
