Cathy Sue Hall Emmons

Cathy Sue Hall Emmons, 67, of Lee County, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Willson Hospice in Albany, Georgia. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 186 Woodstone Circle, Albany, GA 31701.

Cathy will be remembered for the love she poured into her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. She had a gift for cooking, a passion for gardening, and a playful spirit that enjoyed games like Candy Crush. Cathy also loved listening to music, especially good old rock ’n’ roll. Her warmth, laughter, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. Hall and Vivian Latrell Hall, and her sister, Ginger Ferrell Banks.

Cathy is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony “Andy” Emmons; her children, Jason Emmons (Stephanie) of St. Augustine, FL, and Chanda Emmons of Leesburg, GA; and her beloved grandchildren, Hannah Lambert, Anthony Toccoa Landers, and Eliana Emmons. She is also survived by her niece and nephew, Sonya Banks and Mickey Banks; her sister, Bonnie Sanders; cousins; and her dearest friends, Sherry Page and Ken Dyer.
