Carolyn Elizabeth Wills

Carolyn Elizabeth Wills, 68, of Leesburg, GA., died Monday, November 4, 2024 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Saturday November 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson, Ga. Rev Damon Fountain will officiate. 

Carolyn was born on the Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township, near Mount Clemens, MI. Carolyn moved to Dawson, Ga as a young child, attended school at Terrell County and Georgia Southwestern University. During Carolyn’s career, she was employed with the Terrell County School System, Dawson United Methodist Church, and retired from Darton College after many years of service. She truly loved being a mother and cherished her family. Carolyn loved the Lord and enjoyed reading, playing games, and talking on the phone to friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Loyce and Nannelle Dent, her son Jarrod Wills and a sister Jeannette Merrill.

Survivors include her son, Clint Wills (Lori), her grandchildren, Mason Wills, Jake Wills, Samantha Wills and Maverick Wills, her fiancé Donald Watson, her sisters Patricia McClusky (Late husband Max) and Brenda Perry (Will), nephews Kenneth McClusky (Catherine), Timothy Perry (Georgia) and a niece, Kim Blain (Richard).
