Carolyn Sue Combs Rogers

Carolyn Sue Rogers went home to be with the lord on March 19, 2026. In keeping with her wishes she is to be cremated and buried next to her late husband and son. A memorial service will be held on March 28, 2026 at 11 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Reverend Matthew Schluckebrier will officiate.

Carolyn was born on July 18, 1955 in Lake Charles, LA to Utah and Mattie Sue Combs. Being a military child she moved around to many different places but eventually settled down in Albany, GA. She was a faithful member of the once Liberty Parkway Church of God & then joined Life Church several years ago. She was a dedicated employee of Black, Custer & Lynch LLC before retirement.

She is survived by her daughter & son in law, Stacie & Brandon Torrence. She had 5 grandchildren- Caleb Rogers, Jaxson Rogers, Mackenzie Torrence, Ansleigh Torrence & Ethan Torrence. She had 1 great grandchild- Tatum Rogers. She also leaves behind her father- Utah Combs, a sister- Laura Key, 2 brothers & a sister in law- Kenny & Diane Combs and Robert Combs.

Carolyn was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother & friend. Although this will be difficult for those that loved Carolyn they know that she is in a much better place.
