Carolyn Webb Griner, 86, of Leesburg, GA died Monday July 28, 2025 at Angels Garden Personal Care Home in Dacula, GA. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 at First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev Mark Walker & Rev David Postlewaite will officiate.

Carolyn was born in Omega, GA on July 2, 1939. She graduated from Tift County High School, married Charles Griner & moved to Albany, GA. She worked as secretary for First Freewill Baptist Church for 41 years. She was also a member of the K&K Sunday School class. She loved Jesus, her church & her friends. She had a very kind & loving heart & always thought of others first. She enjoyed times with her family & friends & gave us all so much love & support.

Mrs. Griner was preceded in death by her parents, John Webb & Thelma Hayes Webb, her husband, Charles “Sonny” Griner, a son, Tim Griner, & a sister, Jean Webb Smith. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Griner Ake (Darrell), four grandchildren, Carly Ake Elliott (Will), Brandon Ake (Leah), Wesley Griner (Payton), Jeanifer Griner Hill (Travis) & six great grandchildren.


In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorials in memory of Carolyn Griner to First Freewill Baptist Church, 420 N. Westover Blvd, Albany GA 31707.

The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
