Carole Murray Moody

Carole Murray Moody, 73, of Lee Co. GA, passed away Monday June 27, 2016 at Phoebe North Medical Center. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Grady Morey and Judge Jim Thurman will officiate.
Born in San Diego, CA, Mrs. Moody has resided in Leesburg since 1977. She was a professional seamstress working with R & S Sports, Lee Co. Recreation and citizens of both Dougherty and Lee Co., GA. She was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy V. (Davidson) Moody.
Survivors include her husband, Monte (Monterey) Moody, Lee Co., GA, two sons Sammy Moody (Marie), Dougherty Co., GA, Stephen Moody (Jeri), Hinesville, GA, a brother, Kemp Murray (Deborah), Albany, GA, two sisters, Susan Langley, Albany, GA, Linda Herndon (David), New Mexico, four grandchildren Andy, Alex, Stephen, Jr, Christopher (Chris) and two great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Mathews Funeral Home.
