Carmel Dean Taylor

Carmel Dean Taylor of Albany, GA., died Monday, August 7, 2023 at Willson Hospice House. 

A native of Saginaw, MI., Mrs. Taylor was born to Robert and Florence Thompson. She retired from the Marine Corps Logistics base after 34 years of working in civil service. Carmel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time and caring for her family and friends. Mrs. Taylor is a Christian and friend was of the United Methodist faith. 

Survivors include her husband, James Taylor, two stepsons James Taylor, Jr. and Jonathan Taylor and Jonathan’s wife Wendy, two grandchildren, Luther Taylor and Ryan Taylor, two brothers, Hugh Pete Thompson and Samuel Thompson and one sister, Mary Flynn

 No services are planned at this time; a memorial service is expected to be announced later.
