Bruce Duane Heaven

Bruce Duane Heaven, 62, of Terrell County, GA, passed away April 22, 2026 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Chancellor will officiate. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Sylvester, GA.

Bruce was born on December 5, 1963 to the late Harold and Bobbie Heaven. He grew up in Albany, GA until tenth grade and moved to Gainesville, FL, where he graduated High School. He continued his education and graduated from multiple colleges through online programs.

Bruce was initially employed with IBM, then Phoebe Putney, NASA and was currently employed by 3D Air and Space Operations. He lived in Tallahassee, FL. before returning to the Albany Area recently to be with family. Bruce enjoyed collecting knives, Ham Radio and building computers.

Survivors include a brother, Donald “Duck” Heaven and a sister, Connie (Tommy) Jarrett of Terrell County, GA, his mother-in-law, Janice Sinquefield of Worth County, GA., a nephew, Anthony (Amy) Jarrett of Terrell County, GA, two nieces, Cristy Maness of Lee County, GA, and Megan Heaven of Murfreesboro, TN, a great-niece and great-nephews, Anzley Jarrett (Brock Dixon) of Terrell County, GA, T.J. Jarrett (Lesle Holloman) of Lee County, GA, Riley Jarrett (Maryann) and Jesse Maness of Lee County, GA and a great-great-nephew, Cooper Jarrett.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
