Bruce Roland Eastman

Bruce R. Eastman, 72, of Cordele, GA, died October 21, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Brother Terry Crisp and Bill Acord will officiate. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

A native of Wichita, KS, Mr. Eastman had resided in Cordele, GA for the past twenty two years moving from Albany, GA. He was employed with Albany Lincoln-Mercury for twenty four years and retired from Southland Chrysler. Mr. Eastman was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was very active with the music ministry.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Bokenhagen Eastman of Cordele, GA, a step-son, Keith Bokenhagen and his wife, Wendy of Deerfield Beach, FL, three sisters, Sherry Harrell, Gwen Goodman and Vinetta Crisp and her husband, Terry all of Dawson, GA, a brother, Franklin Eastman of Nicholls, GA, a granddaughter, Jenna Gauthier of Deerfield Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday before the funeral service at Mathews Funeral Home.
