Brenda Gail Fordham

Brenda Gail Fordham, 71, of Tifton, GA, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Tift Regional Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Leesburg Cemetery.

Brenda was born in Anniston, AL on May 9, 1955 to the late Cleburne Jimmy Robinson and Nellie Maude and Melvin Benefield. She grew up in Heflin, AL and graduated from Cleburne High School. Brenda moved to Albany, GA in 1987 and was a homemaker until later gaining employment with Mailbox’s Etc. and Uniforms By Julie. She met Johnny Fordham and they married in 1997. After Johnny’s retirement, they moved to Ellijay, GA and then to Tifton, GA. Brenda was active in the Telephone Pioneers and loved being Grandma.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Fordham of Tifton, GA, her daughter, Allison (Richard) Thompson of Sycamore, GA, a step-daughter, Bryanne (Bill) Smith of Lee County, GA and a step-son, Jeff (Megan) Fordham of Lee County, GA, a sister, Rhonda (Dennis) Green of Heflin, AL, her grandchildren, Tucker Green of Pelham, GA, Dillon Turner of Colorado Springs, CO, Emma Grace Turner of Sycamore, GA, Ty Thompson of Alma Gorda, NM, Gage Fordham and Brayland Fordham both of Lee County, GA and two great-grandchildren, Gage Fordham, Jr. and Wyatt Green, and many bonus grandkids.
