Brenda Sue "Susan" Dollar

Brenda Sue “Susan” Dollar, 77, of Lee County, GA passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at her home. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 2:00 pm at The Morgan City Cemetery. Flynn Bridges will officiate.

Susan was born on November 27, 1948 in Camilla, GA to the late George and Laverne Givens. She was raised in Albany, GA and graduated from Albany High School in 1967. Susan was a homemaker until her children were of school age and then worked various fashion and interior retail jobs. She retired from the custom window treatment department of JCPenney when she could no longer work.

Susan enjoyed reading her Bible, watching Christian television, and the home shopping networks. She loved and was so proud of her two granddaughters, AshLyn and Laurel Ann. Susan found her hope and strength through her darkest days in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and longed for the day that she would be reunited with her son, Charles Britton Dollar, who passed away at the age of 6 years old from cystic fibrosis. Heaven's doors opened up on December 17th, and that wonderful reunion took place.

Survivors include her daughters, Tiffany (Mark) Wilkerson of Morgan, GA and Melisa (Marco) Mariti of Ocala, FL and her grandchildren, Ashlyn (Reese) Foster of Dawson, GA and Laurel Ann Wilkerson of Athens, GA.
