Bobby G. Strickland

Bobby G. Strickland, 77 of Albany, GA, died November 25, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. No services will be held at this time. A native of Dawson, GA, born to the late Jimmy and Elizabeth Strickland, Mr. Strickland grew up in Albany, GA and graduated from Albany High School in 1959. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Mr. Strickland was a self-employed Broker of Heavy Equipment Sales for many years, loved the Georgia Bulldogs, enjoyed fishing at Lake Blackshear and golfing. Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Strickland, Cecil Strickland, Wayne Strickland, and an infant son. Survivors include his wife, Rita Strickland, two children, Katherine Giddens of Albany, GA and James Keith Strickland, Sr. of St. Augustine, FL, a brother, Don Strickland and his wife, Billie of Albany, GA and five grandchildren.
