Bobbie Bell Leggett, 83, of Worth County, GA, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2026 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm, at Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Rodney Brown will officiate.

Bobbie was born one of fifteen children in Valdosta, GA on November 2, 1942 and was the last living child of the late Dave C. and Oshey Nell Thomas. She graduated from Lakeland High School, married Leon Lamar Sirmans, Sr. in 1956 and moved to Americus, GA. Bobbie lived in the Southwest Georgia area all of her life, most recently in Worth County, GA. She operated booths at both The Albany Flea Market and Kitty’s Flea Market. Always industrious, she also operated Bobbie’s Boutique in Leesburg, GA.

Bobbie enjoyed country music, dancing and never missed a good Auction. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leon Lamar Sirmans, Sr. in 1982, Paul Clifton Willoughby, Jr in 1992 and Walter O’Neil Stewart in 2007 and fourteen siblings.

Survivors include husband, David Leggett of Worth County, GA, her children, Leon Lamar Sirmans, Jr. (Joyce) of Sycamore, GA, Debbie Sirman Smith (Mike) of Sylvester, GA, Barbara Jean Sirmans Raby (Scott) of Warwick, GA, Dave C. Sirmans (Kavita) of Albany, GA and Paul Clifton Willoughby III (Stacy) of Albany, KY, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
