Billie Allan Murry

Billie Allan Murry, 79, of Albany, GA, died Monday December 24, 2012 at Phoebe North Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Byne Memorial Baptist Church Chapel. Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate. Interment will follow At Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Luverne, AL, Mr. Murry had resided in Albany, GA for the past fifty seven years and was retired from Rhodes Furniture Company after forty years. He was a veteran serving in the Air Force and taught the Third Grade Children's Sunday School Class and a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Thomas Murry, Albany, GA., a son, Tim Murry (Jacque), Savannah, GA, two daughters, Lynn Murry Ruehl (David), Ringgold, GA, Connie Murry Downs (Greg), Americus, GA, a brother, Glenn Murry (Virginia), Luverne, AL, four grandchildren, Katie Ruehl Thompson, Rett Downs, Wes Downs, Keiser Ruehl and a great-granddaughter, Berkley Thompson.

The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Byne Memorial Baptist Church.
