Beulah Parks Bass

Beulah Parks Bass, 82, of Albany, GA, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Sunnyside Baptist Church. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery, Worth County, GA.

A native of Worth County, GA Mrs. Bass had resided in Albany since 1946 moving from Worth County. She was a retired purchasing agent with Coats & Clark and a charter member of Sunnyside Baptist Church where she was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her husband, Bloomer Browne Bass, Jr. and a brother, Billy Parks.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Brownie and Murl Bass of Albany, GA; a daughter and her husband, Diane and John McCraine of Eufaula, AL; a sister-in-law, Ila Joines of Albany, GA, six grandchildren, Angela Hopper and her husband Corey, Carl Schmidt and his wife Cristy, Lauren Bass, Brian Bass, Andy Bass, Mary Ann Schmidt and Misty Schmidt; eight great-grandchildren, Clinton Bass, Hayden Schmidt, Cassidy Bachman, Kayla Schmidt, Osheanna Schmidt, Seth Schmidt, Joey Schmidt and J.R. Schmidt; two great-great-grandchildren, Jennifer Bachman and Trevor Schmidt, a niece, Cathe Howard and her husband, Roger and a two great-nieces, Brittney Howard and Kelly Howard.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until funeral time at Sunnyside Baptist Church.
