Bartt Harrelson

Bartt Harrelson, 56, of Albany, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at his residence. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Mathews Funeral Home at 6:00 PM. Rev. Mark Jackson will officiate. 

Born in Little Rock, AR, Bartt has lived in Albany since 1987. 

Bartt worked in manufacturing with Cooper Tire as well as Georgia Pacific. He loved to take his family to the hunting camp and to take his son and daughter fishing. He was always cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, whether that was football, basketball or baseball. Bartt enjoyed getting together with his family and sharing his love for cooking with them. Together for 30 years, they created a beautiful family. Two children, Reilly and Heath; along with two grandchildren, Kent and Lyla.

Survivors include his wife Rae Childers Harrelson, daughter, Reilly Moree (James), son, Heath Harrelson, grandchildren, Kent Moree, Lyla Moree, mother, Diane Jackson (Steve), father, Kenneth Harrelson (Lisa), sister, Melissa Horne (Charles), twin brother Brett Harrelson, nieces and nephews, McKenzie Horne, Carter Horne, Emma Horne, Lauren Horne, Joiner Ivey and Trott Ivey and great nephew Porter Nobles.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
