Barbara Ann Hicks

Barbara Wilson Hicks, 72, of Albany, GA, died May 12, 2016 at her residence. A visitation and viewing will be held Saturday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Steve Hall will deliver remarks at 6:00 PM.

A native of Columbia, SC, Mrs. Hicks was a military wife and traveled extensively with her husband during his career and was employed with Columbus Bank and Trust Company. She moved to Albany, GA in 1999 to be close to her daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Robert R. (Bob) Hicks (Sgt Maj, US Army Ret.), his daughter, Bobbi Paynter, and two grandchildren, Rachael Elizabeth McGill and Justin M. Hicks all of Albany, GA.
