Andrew "Andy" Stewart

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, January 8, 2024, at 3:00pm at Bronwood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Bronwood Baptist Church.  Rev. Jeff Carter officiating. 

Born in Dawson, to the late, E. E. Stewart and Maddie Achord Stewart, Andy spent most of his life in Terrell County retired from Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies.  He had previously worked at Lilliston and Yale Rubber, was a member of Bronwood Baptist Church and a U. S. Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son E. E. “Ernie” Stewart, sisters Louise Stewart Parnacott, Jan and Nan Stewart, brothers, Sam Stewart, Richard Stewart, Delmar Stewart, Bobby Stewart, Earl Stewart.

Andy is survived by his wife, Nell Rigsby Stewart of Bronwood, GA, his sons Drew Stewart (Tina) Monroe, GA, Jeff Joiner (Terry) Americus, GA, step children Larry Rigsby (AJ) Georgetown, GA, Tony Rigsby (Kathie) Albany, GA, Tricia Rigsby Williams(Joe) Dawson, GA, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
