Alan D. Huston

Alan D. Huston, MSgt, USMC Retired, 59., of Albany, GA., died Monday, July 7, 2025 at his residence. A visitation will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Mathews Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Military Funeral Honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the military service at The Elks Lodge on Gillionville Road.

Alan was born in Arlington, Massachusetts to the late Roy and Leona Huston. Alan devoted his life to serving his country. He served over twenty-two years in the United States Marine Corps and went on to serve in civil service.

While during his time in active-duty Master Sergeant Alan Huston served at Camp Johnson, NC., Camp Pendleton, CA., Okinawa Japan, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, Camp Lejeune, NC., Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA., Recruiting Station, Orlando, FL. and Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA.

He is survived by his wife Aurora Huston, his brother Tom Huston, nieces and nephews and a large marine family.
