Vonda Kay Newton , 59, of Albany, GA passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at Willson Hospice House. Graveside memorial services will be conducted Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Arabi Cemetery, Hwy 41 N., Arabi, GA.

Vonda was born in Ashburn, GA to the late James Wilbur Newton and Jennell Wiggins Newton.

Survivors include a son, Gabriel Newton, Warner Robins, GA, sisters, Toni Canaday (Vasco), Thomasville, GA, Vicki Shepherd (John), Albany, GA, brother, David Newton, Thomasville, GA, nieces, Jeri Lynn Woodard, Jessica Henderson, nephews, Christopher Shepherd, Brandon Pate and a number of great nieces and nephews.
