Michael Easton Blanchard, 19, of Lee County died Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in Macon.
His Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 3 PM at First Baptist Church of Leesburg with interment to follow in Leesburg Cemetery. Dr. Charlie Rouse and Derrick Sheffield will officiate.
A lifelong native of Lee County, Easton was an avid sports fan and a die-hard Georgia Bulldog fan. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games and watching everyone enjoy life. Easton learned to drive at a very young age and although he took out many walls, he could drive better than most and only acquired a few speeding tickets over the years. Easton enjoyed life to the fullest and lived to make others smile. He will forever be our superhero.
Survivors include his parents Brian and Heather Blanchard, sister, Gracee Blanchard, maternal grandparents, Julie Adams and Stan Adams (Wanda), paternal grandparents, Ray and Linda Blanchard, aunt, Amanda Higginbothem (Michael), uncle, Mark Blanchard (Jessie), cousins, Landen Sanders, Carsen Higginbothem, and Tiner Higginbothem, and countless others who were his adopted family.
There will be a pre-party Friday from 6 to 8 PM at First Baptist Leesburg.
Please come casual to the service with your favorite super hero shirt on.
