| | Date of Death: | April 16, 2010 | | Obituary: | The funeral service of Gloria Ella Breckenridge, 87, of Leesburg, who died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bruce Smith and the family will participate with the service. A native of Chicago, IL Mrs. Breckenridge had lived in Lee County for the last forty one years, moving from Miami, FL. She was a homemaker and was of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard W. Breckenridge and her parents, Rudolph and Ella, Krieman. Survivors include five daughters, Sandra Lee Breckenridge, Candy Mann, Wendy Breckenridge, all of Lee County, Linda Kappert and her husband, Gerrit, of Sylvester, GA and Sharon Hembree and her husband, Billy, of Baconton, GA, two sons, William Breckenridge and his wife, Nancy, of Cheyenne, WY and Wesley Breckenridge and his wife, Norma of Lafayette, LA, eight grandchildren, Jeanie Provoncha and her husband, Keith, of Albany, Robin Wimberly, and her fiancé, Chris Berry of Albany, Lori Mears and her husband, Ricky, of Leesburg, Dianna Zeh, and her husband, Phillip, of Poulsbo, WA, James Hall, of Ft. Pierce, FL, Melissa Myers, and her husband, Greg, of Albany and Lauren Breckenridge and Alex Breckenridge, both of Cheyenne, WY and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home.
