| Obituary: | The private memorial service of Bobbie Lambert Cox, 68, of Albany, GA., died Wednesday July 21, 2010 at Georgetown, GA was conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Frank Lamb officiated.
A native of Columbus, GA, Mrs. Cox had resided in Albany for over fifty years. She was a retired designer/decorator with Suburban Furniture and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Clay Co., GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis Lamar McCraney and Sarah Carolyn Ennis McCraney. Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Denise L. Miller (Matt), a sister, June McCraney Pelham and a granddaughter, Sarahgrace Miller all of Albany, GA. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
