| Obituary: | The graveside service for Lamar Marvin Everson, 90, of Albany, GA who died Monday, July 12, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, will be conducted Friday, July 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Tony Haefs will officiate.
A native of Camilla, GA, Mr. Everson had lived and reared his family in Albany, GA. He was owner of L. M. Everson Construction Company, U.S. Navy and U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church. Mr. Everson was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Lottie Everson, his parents, William Allen Everson and Lenora Cook Everson, Step-mother, Mary Everson, seven brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include, his wife, Ouida Everson of Albany, GA, a daughter and her husband, Kim Everson Harris and Ron Harris of Birmingham, AL, three sons and their wives, Don and Sandi Everson of Pineville, NC, Mark and Katharine Everson of Chapel Hill, NC and Dennis and Marie Everson of Casselberry, FL, grandchildren, Kelli Harris, Kaci Harris, Mike Everson, Mathew Everson, Chris Everson, Ashley Everson Bynum and Jessica Everson, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
