| Obituary: | The funeral service of Benjamin Wyatt Paul, 87, of Albany, GA who died Wednesday, July 07, 2010 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA, will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. J.T. Paul and Kenny Paul will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens. Brian Paul, Chris Kinna, Scott Kinna, Tim Paul, Ryan Paul and Frank (Tone) Pundavela will serve as pallbearers. A native of Calhoun County, GA, Mr. Paul had resided in the area since 1953 moving from Morgan, GA. He was a World War II Army veteran and was retired after twenty nine years as a truck driver for Georgia Highway Express. He was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church and the Open Door Sunday School Class. Mr. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Grace Fogarty Paul and a daughter, Dinah Marie Paul. Survivors include three sons and their wives, Phillip and Joanna Paul of Apopka, FL, Gerald and Margaret Daniel of Albany, GA and Tony and Betty Paul of Sylvester, GA, a daughter, Eudora Pundavela and her husband, Frank of Sylvester and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. The family is at the residence of Tony and Betty Paul, 839 GA. Hwy 32 West, Oakfield, GA, 31772.
